We live in a content heavy culture where in just a single minute, over 300 hours of video content is uploaded to Youtube alone. We believe that the television is now the smartphone and your social media platforms are the channels. We want want to help you stand out from the crowd by creating branded video content that allows your clients an opportunity to share you and your business on their social media. More and more small businesses are creating promotional films & branded video content for their audience to consume and they're reaping the rewards.

We are located just outside of our home city of Philadelphia in Pennsylvania. The city of brotherly love, baby! You'll never visit another city like Philly. That said, we've grown up in the shadow of the city in the suburbs of King of Prussia, PA. You might've visited here if you wanted to shop at the largest mall on the east coast.
We've lived here all our lives. We love this place and we can't deny our roots. So maybe you're wondering why the name Rebel Hill?
Location
You're probably wondering where we came up with this name. It has everything to do with our location and it's history. At some point during both of our lives, we lived in a place called Rebel Hill. Actually, Alec grew up on Rebel Hill Rd located on Rebel Hill.
It's speculated that Rebel Hill received it's name from British General Cornwallis, who led 3,000 British troops in a raid on what he called Rebel Hill because the British army noticed it was filled with Rebels - today we call them Patriots. Rebel Hill is an important piece of history in the founding of this nation.

Filmmaking is a collaborative effort and so you will be involved in each process every step of the way. We will discuss everything about your business, your brand, and your target market so we can create an effective film that will bring more customers to your business.
We believe that gear is only as valuable as the filmmaker who is using it. We've shot on everything from low end DSLRS to the high-end cinema cameras, like the RED Dragon & Arri Alexa, that are used on some of your favorite feature films. For the majority of our clients, our high end DSLRs are the perfect tool. They're durable, versatile, can fit practically anywhere, and shoot in high quality 1080p HD. If your project needs 4K, we have options and packages for you! From sliders, to drones, to steadicams, we got you covered!

Alec Maksymowych
I am a photographer, cinematographer and musician. I've been involved in the arts ever since I was a kid. I grew up playing music & was involved in theater a lot during high school on the tech side. I attended DeSales University and studied filmmaking. While I was there, I directed multiple short films, directed photography on a few more, and most importantly, learned how the entire process works. I've always admired those who run their own businesses and are their own bosses, so owning my own small business and helping create content for others is something that inspires a lot of creativity and is rewarding work. We'd love to work with you!
Josiah Blizzard
I am a professional photographer and currently run Josiah & Steph Photography with my wife, Steph. I've grown my business from the ground up utilizing photography & video scattered throughout Facebook, Instagram (and stories), Youtube & Vimeo. Before I became a business owner, I studied filmmaking in college. While in school, I worked in the marketing department and was tasked with creating videos that would advertise to prospective students, including a few national commercial spots. I'm passionate about the work I create and bringing people's businesses to life through the use of creative media. Let's create something great together!
